About Sherwinview Alpacas and Fiona’s creations
My experience with alpacas began in 2004 with my first alpacas, Nugget and Lord Lamington, and continued with my first black females, Ebony and Lucy Lu.
Originally based in Kangaroo Ground, Victoria, my family and I moved to our property at Eppalock near Bendigo in 2006 to better manage our growing herd.
By 2010, our farm expanded to include alpacas in a range of colours, including white, fawn, brown, grey, and black.
While our history is rooted in breeding and farming, my focus has shifted to handmade products created from alpaca and other natural fibres.
I now specialise in turning the alpaca fleece into practical items available for sale. My fine alpaca fleeces are cleaned and carded for spinning, dyeing, and felting. I also enjoy using sheep's wool and other all-natural fibres in my products.
I have knitted for my children, and now for my grandchildren, and I hope my creations will bring joy to your family.
Warm regards,
Fiona
