About Sherwin View Alpaca Products
Our experience with alpacas began in 2004 with Nugget and Lord Lamington, followed by our first black females, Ebony and Lucy Lu. Originally based in Kangaroo Ground, we moved to our property at Eppalock near Bendigo in 2006 to better manage our growing herd.
By 2009, our farm expanded to include alpacas in a range of colours, including white, fawn, brown, grey, and black. While our history is rooted in breeding and farming, our focus has shifted to the products created from their fleece.
Fiona now specialises in turning our harvest into practical items for makers and homes. Our fine fleeces are cleaned and carded for spinning, dyeing, and felting. At Sherwin View, we take the fleece from our animals and process it into the yarns and products you see here today.
